IGN PSPgo Hardware Walkthrough (Video)

the PSPgo... the UMDless version of the playstation portable will be available october 1st, 2009. it looks dope, and i like the idea that it does away with the battery draining UMD drive. it will focus on digital downloads available for purchase on the playstation network instead of the 1.8gb universal media discs.
the 16gb of internal flash memory should be enough to hold at least 8 full psp games. it also comes with a slot for an m2 card which can double the memory (the largest m2 card as of now is 16gb).
the only bad part is... the PSPgo launches at $250... for those of you that own a psp 3000 (or an earlier model) like myself, you can easily fit 32gb of memory into it using two 16gb micro's and an adapter for about $100.
the PSPgo is sexy with its sliding screen and all, but i think i'll wait for a price drop. what about you?
